guided meditation: from perception to perceiving

Zoom yoga nidra classes will begin next week! Mondays at 7:30PM, Wednesdays at 10AM. Eastern time zone. Register in advance at: www.pathlessyoga.com/kathleen A brief guided inquiry (10 minutes) on moving from perception of sense objects to pure perceiving.

yoga nidra: on identification

During this practice we explore identification by alternating between naming, labelling, describing and claiming our experiences and meeting them as pure sensation without descriptors or personalization, ending with sensing our commonality in the infinite web of “Beingness.”

yoga nidra: wheels of energy

This practice centres around the use of the breath to explore the subtle psycho-spiritual energy centres from the base of the spine to the crown.

yoga nidra: being aware

Slowly, step by step, the practice explores the difference between being “aware of” the subtle sensations of body, breath, emotions and thoughts that is, being an observer or a witness vs. pure sensing or pure experiencing, in the absence of a witness.

The recording begins with a short talk that follows an unrecorded conversation during which the class participants voiced a range of strong emotions arising in […]

yoga nidra: exploring solitude vs. worldly engagement

This yoga nidra practice follows a discussion about the class members’ mixed feelings in regard to the loosening of social distancing measures as the doors of the “planetary monastery” reopen inviting re-engagement with the bustling world. During the practice we first use the breath to explore body sensation. Then we sense how our body and […]
