yoga nidra: exploring solitude vs. worldly engagement

This yoga nidra practice follows a discussion about the class members’ mixed feelings in regard to the loosening of social distancing measures as the doors of the “planetary monastery” reopen inviting re-engagement with the bustling world. During the practice we first use the breath to explore body sensation. Then we sense how our body and breath respond to the contrasting experiences of solitude and interiority and those of being busy and actively engaged in the world.
