juste ceci

yoga nidra: witnessing the witness
Yoga nidra begins where doing ends. This practice invites a shift from habitual doing to simply being, in which sensing becomes the bridge to stillness. As effort softens, we begin to rest in the mystery of awareness itself — encountering the paradox of witnessing the witness. The taste of “just before” individuality emerges— simple, natural, and utterly familiar.

yoga nidra: self-consciousness
In the biblical story of Adam and Eve, there is a pivotal moment when self-consciousness arises. Before eating the fruit, the first couple is naked and unashamed—whole, at ease in being. But upon tasting the forbidden fruit, their eyes are opened. They recognize their nakedness, feel exposed, and move swiftly to cover themselves. This marks the birth of a distinct sense of self—of separateness, individuality, or “I”-ness.In this practice of yoga nidra, we gently explore the same terrain: the emergence of identity and the subtlety of its dissolution. There may be glimpses of the spaciousness of being just prior

yoga nidra: here
“We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones…” so begins Richard Dawkin’s Unweaving the Rainbow. Our practice opens with a reading of the first lines of the book and then flows into exploring the feeling of being here. And Here.

yoga nidra: the dance
We navigate between addressing the realities of being human – the experience of our bodies, thoughts and emotions – and recognizing the transience of this existence. Our practice is one of keeping a foot in both worlds; exploring disidentification without bypassing the human experience in favour of transcendence.
